Whole Body Cryotherapy

During each session -- lasting between 2-to-3 minutes at temperatures that can reach -240°F -- the skin responds to the cold and sends messages to the brain that areas of your body may not be working to their fullest potential. Blood rushes to your core to protect your body where a natural filtration takes place to remove toxins and other negative properties. Once out of the chamber, the filtered blood -- filled with nutrients, enzymes and oxygen -- makes its way back to the outer tissues and the body will begin to see the affects.

Cryotherapy FAQ

1Who would benefit from cryotherapy?
Cryotherapy has been found to help those with chronic and acute inflammation, fatigue, muscle soreness, decreased joint pain and disorders, anxiety and depression. Whole body cryotherapy is also extensively used in self-treatment or body hardening against respiratory tract infections and musculoskeletal pain.
2What should I expect during a session?
Each session is monitored and administered by a trained recovery technician. The technician working with you during your particular session will lead you to our private cryotherapy room where you will be given instructions prior to entering the chamber. Once ready, a technician will lead you through the treatment, while also monitoring the session. While you are inside the chamber for a maximum of 3 minutes, the entire appointment will last nearly 10 minutes to give ample time to enjoy your experience.
3What do I wear during each session?
While using the cryothamber, you will only be wearing socks, slippers and gloves; men also wear underwear. The slippers and gloves are provided to you during your session. The reason for this is to expose an appropriate amount of skin to the cold air. If you are wearing lotion, please do not apply within an hour of your session.
4Are there limitations or restrictions to using cryotherapy?
There are some contraindications including pregnancy, heart disease, uncontrolled seizures, uncontrolled blood pressure, Raynaud's syndrome, allergic reactions to extreme cold, active fever and more. No one under the age of 14 is permitted to use the chamber unless directed by a doctor. A screening process is done, including a blood pressure reading, prior to entering the chamber. If you have any questions, please contact us.
5How often should I use cryotherapy?
Depending on the condition of treatment, you should initially take 5-10 treatments in close succession to maximize your results. After that, you can take fewer treatments spaced further apart to maintain and improve on your results.
6Do I need an appointment?
We encourage you to make an appointment to guarantee availability. However, walk-in times may be available depending on the day.

NormaTec Recovery System

In our NormaTec lounge, you will be set up with a control unit and attachments which can go on the legs, arms, or hips. The system uses compressed air to massage your limbs, mobilize fluid, and speed recovery with the patented NormaTec Pulse Massage Pattern. At first, you will experience a pre-inflate cycle, during which the connected attachments are molded to your exact body shape. The session will then begin by compressing your feet, hands, or upper quad (depending on which attachment you are using). Similar to the kneading and stroking done during a massage, each segment of the attachment will first compress in a pulsing manner and then release. This will repeat for each segment of the attachment as the compression pattern works its way up your limb.

Alter-G Treadmill

The Alter-G allows you to rehabilitate lower extremity injuries or conditions with less pain and impact. The treadmill reduces gravity's impact by selecting any weight between 20% and 100% of your body weight by 1% increments. During its use, you are securely strapped into the treadmill to safely rehab and recover from your injury. The Alter-G allows you to train without pain, while also allowing recovering athletes to exercise and maintain cardiovascular fitness and strength while an injury heals.

Raptor Recovery Session

The RAPTOR is a state-of-the art handheld percussion therapy device. Featuring six different speeds, the RAPTOR is the most powerful, yet precise massage tool a sports medicine physician, practitioner or physical therapist can use to compliment a deep tissue treatment. The session will allow us to treat and relieve muscle soreness, restore healthy connective tissue and activate muscles faster.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping therapy is the use of negative pressure rather than tissue compression to treat the body. By creating suction and negative pressure this therapy releases rigid soft tissue, drains excess fluid and toxins, loosens adhesions, lifts connective tissue, and brings blood flow to stagnant skin and muscles. Cupping therapy has shown to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being.

TPI Certified Golf Screening

Our Titleist Performance Institute Certified team will take you through a screening process that will show inefficiencies and limitations in the body, which will leave you susceptible to injury and impact your golf swing. Through a 16-step screening process, our certified professionals will be able to help you show what's holding back your game. With screening results, a personalized program will be built to help take your game to the next level.

KINSTRETCH & Mobility Training

KINSTRETCH is a movement enhancement system that develops maximum body control, flexibility and USABLE ranges of motion.
